SETUP GUIDE

Swanholm Sense Collar

Button Guide

Turn on:
Press once. Confirmed by a beep and a green blinking light.
Turn off:
Press and hold for 5 seconds. Confirmed by a beep and a red
blinking light.

Manual alarm:
Press 5 times (max 0.5s between clicks) to trigger the alarm.
In case of a false alarm, tap “Don’t notify” in the app to cancel
30 s countdown.

Alert Vest Light Modes (cycle) (if your vest supports lights and
the sense collar is already switched on):
Press 2 clicks → Static Light
Press 2 clicks → Flashing Light
Press 2 clicks → Rhythmic Flashing
Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn the lights off, confirmed
by a beep.

Silent mode:
To activate and deactivate, first turn off the Sense Collar, then
turn it back on by pressing the button for 4 seconds.

Battery and Charging - Charge via USB-C

Battery indicator (button LED):
Green: >40%
Blue: 20–40%
Red: <20%

While charging:
Red: 0–60%
Blue: 60–90%
Green: >90%
The battery indicator becomes more accurate after the first 3
charging cycles

Important Safety Notes

In case of a false alarm, tap “Don’t notify” in the app to cancel
30s countdown.
To send alerts, the collar must be connected to a smartphone
with a SIM/mobile or Wi-Fi connection.
Make sure the collar snaps are properly attached. If not, AV1
lights may not work, but other functions will still work.
During use, keep your phone nearby and connected. The collar
connects via Bluetooth, and your phone sends alerts by SMS.
Sense Collar battery status can also be checked in the Sense
App

Swanholm Sense App

Before you start

Charge the Sense Collar
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone
Make sure your phone has a mobile connection (SIM) and
internet

Step 1: Download the app
Download Swanholm Sense, available on iOS & Android

Step 2: Turn on the Sense Collar
Press the button once
It turns on with a beep and a blinking light

Step 3: Allow permissions (first time only)
Accept Terms & Conditions
Allow Notifications
Allow Location: select while using the app
Allow Bluetooth / Find Nearby Devices

Step 4: Pair your phone with the collar
Open the Sense App
Tap pair device
Select your Swanholm device
Pairing is complete when the collar beeps

Step 5: Set emergency contacts
Press Settings and go to Emergency Contacts
Max 10 contacts, either new or from your contacts (country
code required)
Only five contacts can be active at a time
Use the checkbox to check or uncheck relevant contacts
Confirm by tapping Save

Step 6: Write your emergency message
Go to “Alarm” on the homepage to set the Emergency
Message
Customize your emergency message (your location link is
added automatically)
Confirm by tapping Save

Step 7: Test your setup
Run a quick test before first use
Confirm your contacts receive a test message
